Community Event Support Programme

Volunteers can play a crucial role in making any community event a success. They can carry out a wide range of roles from managing social media to welcoming guests and acting as event ambassadors.
In our day to day work, Louth Volunteer Centre supports a variety of not-for-profit community organisations in the hosting of their events.
Hence, we would like to present our Community Event Volunteer Support Programme, the aim of which is to offer ongoing practical supports and bespoke tailored training to community groups in the recruiting of volunteers, event volunteer management, as well as more practical supports, such as the provision of Hi Vis vests, Ponchos and tablets.
This Event Volunteer Support Programme is designed to support Volunteer Managers to develop the skills and knowledge to effectively recruit, manage and motivate event volunteers.
Louth Volunteer Centre has a number of levels of support packages that organisations can pick from to suit the individual needs of their community and voluntary organisation.
There are a range of reasons why community organisations would benefit from our bespoke package:
• Upskill existing and new team members in best practice in Event Volunteer Management
• Preparation is the key to success!
• Ensuring that volunteers are contributing to achieving the objectives of your event.
• Funding restraint – your organisation may not have the capacity to develop a comprehensive volunteer programme, but can undertake a targeted approach.
• Whatever your organisation’s needs, we have a package for you!

Our Community Event Volunteer Support Programme offers the following three packages from which organisations can choose. Our Purple Package is the most comprehensive. Please see below for our full range of supports.
