The Knight of St. Columbanus Drogheda are holding a Camino type walk in Drogheda on an annual basis. t The walk is 3.2 km and can be done within any time limit. It will start at the Lourdes church and will visit all churches in the town and will end at St Peters Church. A passport will be given out to each patron as they start and will be stamped in each church on the walk, a certificate of completion will be given when all churches have been visited.

The Boyne navigation Branch IWAI
The Boyne Navigation Branch is a branch of the Inland Waterways Association of Ireland (IWAI). The primary objective of the branch is the restoration of the Boyne Navigation (Canal) which goes from Drogheda to Navan. The Boyne Navigation branch of IWAI was formed in May 2007. The branch is still actively working on the restoration of the initial lock on the canal & hopes to have that lock (sealock) open by the end of this year.
