Front of House Volunteer

Drogheda Comedy Festival are looking for volunteers to support them with the Drogheda Comedy Festival from 7th-9th of March.
Volunteers will be tasked with greeting guests as they arrive to the event and checking e-tickets, assisting any audience members with special requirements,
guiding people to buy tickets online as needed,
communicating progress and any issues arising with event team and greeting and supporting the acts at the festival.
The festival is taking place across a number of venues such as: The Barbican, McHughes, Odd Mollies, The Crescent, The Purple Room, The Punt and Nellies Bar.

Minimum time commitment: Once Off
Hours required: 5 hours once off

Childline Listening Volunteer

ISPCC Childline is recruiting for Listening Volunteers for our phone and online chat.
We recruit volunteers from all over the Louth, Meath and the Fingal area and are eager to add to our fantastic team. Childline volunteers receive extensive training in order to provide a quality 24 hour service for children and young people via phone, text and online.
Listening Volunteers are a listening to ear to children for a wide range of topics.
Each volunteer, is allocated a 4 hour time slot, once a week.

In person training for this role is commencing mid March and will run for five consecutive weeks. - Minimum time commitment: 1 year Hours required: 4 hours weekly
