Gráinne joined Louth Volunteer Centre in April 2016. Gráinne work history includes designing, delivering and managing a County wide programme for young people with disabilities which had volunteering at its core; supporting people effected by homelessness to develop their employability skills, including through volunteering; working for a number of years in adult education; and considerable management experience in the private sector.
Gráinne is passionate about embedding volunteerism in the fabric of communities and wants to see County Louth being held us as a model of best practice in relation to the volunteering activity taking place.
Karen joined the Louth Volunteer Centre in May 2008. Central to her work is the aim to provide a free, high quality volunteer placement service in a friendly and professional manner, where volunteering is the focus of her work. She aims to offer professional support and advice to organisations around their volunteering needs, so that they can achieve best practice principles in volunteer management. She also facilitates the National Volunteer Management Training Programme, to organisations working in County Louth.

Kayleigh joined the volunteer centre in January 2013. Her role includes supporting organisations and volunteers in the North Louth area, assisting in identifying and filling volunteering roles within organisations and helping volunteers to find suitable, fulfilling volunteering opportunities.
Kayleigh is available every Monday & Thursday in Dundalk, by appointment, to meet with any organisation or volunteer who feel they may need support or information from the Volunteer Centre.

Tracy is the team administration, assisting the Louth Volunteer Centre manager and other team members in areas such as finance and general administration. Tracy also provides frontline placement support to volunteers in our Drogheda Office.

Eileen has been a volunteer with Louth Volunteer Centre since November 2013. Her role involves providing support to volunteers and assistance in finding meaningful volunteer roles.

Susan is a member of the placement team and helps with outreaches that the Volunteer Centre deliver. Susan also helps out with the administration involved with the projects that we deliver around the county.
Gavin joined the team in 2015 as a graphic designer, working on projects such as leaflet design and designing graphics for our website.
Piriyat (Bow) Saoyood
Bow is a member of our Placement team in Drogheda. Bow is currently completing a qualification in Business and Accounting and hope to progress to a degree in accounting and finance. As well as providing placement support to our registered volunteers, she does some invaluable administration on Finance and Garda Vetting.

Niall is the Managing Director at local training and consultancy company, EMS and associates. he has been a member of the Volunteer Centre board of directors since 2012.
Amaka is the founder www.edundalk.com. She is a social entrepreneur and community development professional. I am also a trained office administrator and legal secretary. She is passionate about volunteering because it helps individuals to gain valuable experience. It was through volunteering that she was able to effectively change her career to become what she is today and aspires to be. I started volunteering in Ireland in 2003 and continue to do so.
Joan has 20+ years of experience successfully leading large multi functional teams and small high impact groups in the private sector.
Ide is retired and terms herself a voluntary community worker. She has lived in Drogheda since 1979, and has been involved in community work in Drogheda since then.
Maeve is a member of Louth County Council. She has a background in volunteering in the disability sector.
Julie is a CIMA qualified management accountant and has over 12 years’ experience in senior roles within the FMCG industry as well as 6 years previous experience in the Financial Services sector.
